Spay & Neuter Resources

As a condition of adoption, all shelter animals must be spayed/neutered at 6 months of age. Regardless of whether you use our vet or your own, the spay/neuter certificate must be faxed to us at (703) 342-0342 upon completion of the procedure.

For those who have adopted through our organization, we offer a Spay/Neuter clinic. We have incorporated the fee for this service into our Adoption fees. Our spay/neuter clinics are held every other month or so, when we have enough animals to justify it. Old Bridge Vet, 3604 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge, VA, donates the space for this.

  The Washington Animal Rescue league offers a FREE spay/neuter program to all individuals within the DC area, regardless of income.

  Free/low cost spay neuter program for low income families.

  Low cost certificates can be purchased and can only be used at one of the participating area vets.
